Ryan Reynolds was born in Vancouver, Canada and grew up in the small city of Wrexham, British Columbia. He attended Kitsilano Secondary School, where he was voted "Most Talented" in the school's graduating class of 1995. He was also a member of the school's student council and the drama club. After graduating, Reynolds attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where he studied business and then later attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Vancouver.

Reynolds has starred in several blockbuster films and is best known for roles in Deadpool, Green Lantern, and the X-Men franchise. He has also made appearances in television shows such as Two Guys and a Girl, The In-Laws, and The Voice.

Reynolds is a proud Canadian and often speaks fondly of his hometown of Wrexham. He often visits the city and has even been honoured with the key to the city. He is involved in a number of charities and is an ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
